Xuan Thanh Dao

Xuan Thanh Dao, 71, of Monroe passed away June 15, 2023 at his residence surrounded by his family.  He was born on January 15, 1952 in Dang Nang, Vietnam to the late Tu Dao and San Thi Van.  In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his first wife, Heng Hua.  Xuan loved gardening, cooking for his family, being around his kids and grandkids, and yearly visits to his homeland to see his family.

Survivors include his wife, Dung Nguyen; children, Minh Hua and husband Thanh Tran and their children, Jonny Tran, Jayden Tran, and Jenny Hua and husband Elvis Dang and their children, Ava Dang and Aleina Dang, Tuan Dao and wife Thaimy Doan and their daughter, Thaila Dao, and Hai Dao and wife Phuong Dam and their children, Nina Dao, Nicholas Dao, and Vinny Dao.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, June 18, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. at Benson Funeral & Cremation Services, 101 Oak Grove St., Mt. Holly, NC 28120.
