Wanda Cloninger Shaffer, 90, passed away on October 22, 2024 at the Stanley Total Living Center. She was born on June 12, 1934, in Chickamauga, Georgia, to the late Thomas and Opal Taylor Wallace.
Wanda dedicated 40 years of her life to her passion hairstyling, proudly owning and operating Wanda's Hairstyling, where she became a trusted friend and stylist to many. Her talent and commitment to her craft left a lasting impact on the lives of those she served.
Beyond her professional achievements, Wanda found joy in her hobbies, particularly in crafting, crocheting, and painting, pursuits that reflected her creative spirit and added color to her life.
Wanda is survived by her daughters, Pamela Diegert and Jade Allender; her sister, Sandra Ann Wallace (Pablo); as well as four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. These family members remember her with love and admiration, carrying forward her legacy of warmth and creativity.
She is preceded in death by her husbands, Bobby Ray Cloninger and Ralph Shaffer, and her brothers, Kenneth and Richard Wallace. Wanda's memory will live on through the many lives she touched with her kindness, artistry, and unwavering devotion to family and friends.
