Wanda Reynolds

Wanda Ann Reynolds, 65, of Mt. Holly passed away November 12, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her family.  Mrs. Reynolds was born on May 19, 1956 in Gaston County to the late Henry and Rose Hoffman Whaley.  Wanda was also preceded in death by her son, John Beatty Jr.; daughter in law, Shannon Beatty; and also her great grandson, Braxlon Beatty.  She loved the beach where she and her husband, Gary often camped.  She enjoyed traveling in their camper and loved crafting and gardening.  Her greatest love was her family.  To know Wanda was to love her.

Survivors include her loving husband of 18 years, Gary W. Reynolds; Mother-in-law, Bettie Reynolds; children, John Beatty III (Melissa), Angel Beatty, Jeremy Reynolds (Talisa), and Cristy Reynolds (Cory); sisters, Jan Rhyan, Vickie Presslar, and Brenda Heavener; brothers, Guy Whaley and Darrel Whaley and companion Lisa; grandchildren, Jordan Beatty (Kaitlyn), Kaila Johnson (Tyler), Kenslee Lippard, Ashton, Harley and Hatley Reynolds; great grandchildren, Thomas and Colton Johnson; numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Memorial services to celebrate Mrs. Reynolds life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at Benson Funeral & Cremation Services, Mt. Holly.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at 1:00 p.m. The family asks that Covid19 restrictions be honored and face masks please be worn. Inurnment will be held privately.
