Victoria "Vickie" Lorraine Teague

Victoria "Vickie" Lorraine Teague, born on December 20, 1964, passed away on January 31, 2025 at the age of 60, at Novant Health Presbyterian Matthews. She was a cherished daughter of Martha Trull Herring and the late Richard Glenn Herring, Sr.

Vickie embodied a vibrant spirit, enjoying the beauty of the outdoors and the serenity of camping. Among her many hobbies, she found joy in putting together puzzles and had a profound love for music, particularly classic rock, which enriched her life and those around her. A collector of unique and meaningful treasures, Vickie gathered dream catchers and turquoise jewelry, which reflected her deep appreciation for both nature and culture.

Family remained central to Vickie's life. She is survived by her beloved companion, Bruce Mason; her devoted mother, Martha Herring; her children, Christopher Atkins and Jennifer Kirkman; her sister, Holly Bridges; and her brother, Mickey Herring. Vickie was a proud grandmother to Tyler, Dylan, Maddox, Makiyah and Memphis, and she cherished her role as an aunt to nieces Heather, Amber, and Chassity, as well as nephews Mickey and Jimmy.

In addition to her father, Vickie is preceded in death by her brothers, Rick Herring Jr., Jimmy Herring, Nickie Herring, and Dickie Herring. Vickie’s warm presence, boundless energy, and passion for life will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
