Tyler Francis Mainville

Tyler F. Mainville, 31, of Stanley, NC crossed over to his heavenly home on June 10, 2023. 

Tyler, also known as "Uncle Bub", was born in Albany, NY on January 9, 1992. 

 "Uncle Bub" was a loving uncle and always good for a joke and a laugh! He is very loved by his family and many friends. Tyler’s testimony, love and smile touched a lot of people; far and near. He gave the best hugs and had an infectious and contagious laugh. 

He loved to read and study the Bible; he loved all music; but had a true passion to write songs and sing for the Lord. 

Tyler enjoyed the outdoors! The ocean brought him happiness and the mountains had a way of calming his soul! He fished whenever he could; trout fishing being his favorite. And even at 31 he still loved to skateboard. 

He was very artistic, good at carpentry and could build just about anything. He loved a good belly laugh, a good home cooked meal and was great at making people feel welcomed and loved. Tyler had struggles and trials as we all do, but that did not define him. Tyler is a child of God and without a doubt is in Heaven with Jesus and his beautiful mother. To know Tyler is a blessing. He had many gifts and was a gift! He never met a stranger. Tyler is love. 

Tyler was preceded in death by his mother Karen Hare.

Survivors include his father Carmen Mainville Sr., Sisters Cali Spencer and husband Jeff, Amanda Mainville and Sarah Mainville. 

Survived by two brothers, Carmen Mainville Jr. and his children. Jackie Mainville and his children. 

Also, his nieces and nephew that he loved dearly, Layla Jade and Charli Grace and nephew Jonah Stone. 

Celebration of life Services will be held Saturday June 17 at 4:00 PM at Finish Line Christian Center, 108 Main St., Mt. Holly, NC with Pastor Shannon Williams officiating. Visitation will be from 3:00-4:00 PM prior to the service. Inurnment will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Tyler's Honor to: National Council of Alcoholism and Drug Dependence at www.ncadd.org or to the this websites "Plant A Tree" Icon in honor of Tyler.
