Tonya Rena Lovell-Tharp

Tonya Rena Lovell-Tharp, 48, of Mechanicsville, Maryland passed away on October 13, 2022. She was born on October 15, 1973 in Mecklenburg County, NC, to the late Susan Ella Loveland and David William Loveland,Sr.  She is also preceded in death by her brothers, David William Loveland, Jr. and Michael Loveland, and her sister, Linda Loveland.  Tonya touched the lives of more than she realized and was loved by so many.  She will be dearly missed by all.

Survivors include daughter, Jessica Renee Lovell; son, Mark "Levi" Tharp Jr; fiance, David Alan Wilkes; sister, Linda Shavon Hunt; and grandchildren, Madison Sheri Warren and John Michael Warren.

A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Benson Funeral & Cremation Services,101 Oak Grove St., Mt. Holly, NC 28120, with Rev. Mark Costner officiating.
