Timothy L. "Tim" Brown

Timothy L. "Tim" Brown, 53, of Belmont, passed away unexpectedly September 11, 2013 at his residence. Mr. Brown was born in Charlotte, NC on March 10, 1960 to the late Harold L. Brown and Carolyn Smith Brown. He was a member of St. Helen's Catholic Church in Gastonia and was the property superintendent for the Catholic Diocese of Charlotte. Tim loved his family and was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed golf.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Monday, September 16 at Queen of Apostles Catholic Church in Belmont with Rev. Bishop William Curlin, Emeritus and Rev. Monsignor Moe West, Celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Helens Catholic Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held prior to the Mass beginning at 9:30 AM Monday.

Survivors include his loving wife of 28 years, Patricia "Patti" Brown. Children; Kasey Moore, Taylor Brown, Cory Brown, Randy Robinson, Samantha Jones, Johnathan Smith and Tim Edwards. Brother; Carroll Brown. Sisters; Tonda Troglin and husband Billy, Lisa Thomas and husband Roger and Sharon Owens and husband Todd and also 8 grandchildren; Skyler, Drew, Chase, Jayden, Mason, Gavin, Brennan and Bronx. Brother-in-law; John Luddy and wife Elaine. Niece; Sonya Lawson . Nephew; John Luddy and a great nephew, Garrett along with a host of friends.

In lieu of flowers memorials should be made in Mr. Brown's name to his family.
