Thomas Clayton "TC" Thompson

Thomas Clayton "TC" Thompson, 84, of Charlotte went to be with his lord and savior on May 5, 2014 at his residence. Mr. Thompson was born April 3, 1930 in Cherokee County, SC to the late Hobson and Ethel Mae Rollins Thompson. He was a member of Cooks Memorial Presbyterian Church and was a US Army Veteran serving during the Korean War. He was an avid woodworker and handyman. He loved the Atlanta Braves, the Carolina Panthers and Nascar. He was also past little league baseball coach.

Funeral Services to celebrate Mr. Thompson's life will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday May 8th at Cooks Memorial Presbyterian Church in Charlotte with Rev. T.J. Thompson officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior in the Church Fellowship Hall. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn West Cemetery with Military Honors.

Survivors include his wife Melva G. Thompson. Children; Danny Thompson (Mary), Susan Peeler (David), Robbie Thompson (Cindy), Pam Crosby (Marty), Cindy Thompson, Natalie Shepherd (Charlie), Curtis Thompson Jr., Kimberly Thompson and daughter-in-law, Ellen Thompson. 19 Grand and 12 Great Grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to Cooks Memorial Presbyterian Church, 3413 Mt. Holly-Huntersville Rd, Charlotte, NC 28216 or to Hospice at Charlotte, 1420 E. Seventh St, Charlotte, NC 28204.
