He was born in Louisville, KY to the late Thomas Medley Sr. and Ethel Fisher Medley on October 15, 1947. Thomas, known for his adventurous spirit and love for travel, found solace in exploring the open road in his motorhome alongside his beloved wife.
Thomas' life was a tapestry woven with moments of joy and togetherness. He dedicated himself to being an exceptional husband, cherishing every moment spent with his wife, Linda Ballard Medley, for 49 beautiful years. Thomas valued family above all else and found great delight in the presence of his stepson, David Mott, along with his grandchildren Leslie, Lindsey, Lindy, and Michael.
In the embrace of memories that linger like old photographs in the heart's album, we remember Thomas for his warmth, kindness, and unwavering love. His absence leaves a void that can never be filled but also serves as a poignant reminder of a life well-lived.
As the sun sets on this chapter of Thomas' journey, may we find solace in the knowledge that he is now reunited with those who went before him; his stepson, Bradley Mott and siblings, Robert and Donna. Their spirits dance together in a place where pain is no more.
Additionally, among those left behind is Thomas' sister, Peggy Morse, whose shared memories will forever hold a special place in her heart. And let us not forget Jake, Thomas' faithful fur baby Chihuahua who brought him joy and companionship through the years.
The family held a private graveside service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to First Baptist Church Mt. Holly, 300 S. Main St., Mt. Holly, NC 28120.
