Theresa Lanier

Theresa "T.C." Lanier, 54 of Gastonia passed away August 10, 2021 at Caromont Regional Medical Center.  She was born on January 30, 1967 to the late Jesse Lanier Sr. and Linda Martin Lanier.  T.C. was a hard worker who loved her family and her grandchildren. She was employed by Dollar General as an Assistant Manager.  In her spare time, she enjoyed crossword puzzles and she loved fried chicken.

Survivors include her fiance, Timmy Craig; son, Johnny Whitley; daughters, Samantha Alley and husband Shaun and Tiffany Whitley; brothers and sisters, Jesse Lanier Jr., Joe Don Michaels, Mark Michaels, Lisa Quinn, and Michael Quinn; grandchildren, Christopher, Brady, Harley, Bentley, Sadie, MacKenzie, and one grandson on the way; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, August 15, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. at Benson Funeral Services Chapel with Pastor Kevin Ford officiating.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
