Terry Lee Bryant

Terry Lee Bryant, Born January 30th, 1950 was called home November 19th, 2018 to be with the Lord.  He was surrounded by his family as his long battle with cancer came to an end.  Terry’s greatest loves were his family and the outdoors.  His smile was contagious and everyone he met always felt welcome and at ease in his presence.  Now he will be a guardian angel to his surviving wife, Joyce Bryant, his children son-Todd Wayne Bryant, daughter-Levonne Bryant, son-Roland Dean Bryant (Robin), daughter-Sandra Meeler, and daughter-Jenny Meeler Bynum (Crystal); Grandchildren, Jonathan Bryant (Summer), Brooklyn Meeler, Rachel Stamey, Terry Dean Bryant, Hope Bryant, and Josh Bryant.  As well as his great-grandchildren, Charlee Karp, Priscilla Bryant, Henry Bryant, and Kelsey Bryant; brother Freddie Bryant (Beth), and sisters, Patricia Castle and Judy Smith (Mike) plus numerous wonderful nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Charlie & Delthia Bryant.

  “A Limb has fallen from the family tree that says grieve not for me remember the Best Times, The Laughter, The Song, The Good Life I lived while I was strong.” A devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.  His heart never waivered from his love and faith.  Never letting people know his pain, he cherished the thoughts and prayers that have been lifted up for him.  Please continue to lift up those prayers for him and the family at this time. “Blessed are those who Mourn for they shall be comforted” Matthew 5:4.   The comfort of those prayers wrap all of us in the knowing that Terry is no longer suffering and is wondering the forest admiring the wildlife, dropping a pole in the pond to relax all while looking down and covering his family in protection.

The family invites you to celebrate his life on Friday November 23rd at Benson Funeral & Cremation Services, 101 Oak Grove St., Mt. Holly, NC 28120.  Receiving of friends and family will begin at 11:30 am, service will begin at 1:00 pm followed by a grave side military tribute located at Hillcrest Gardens, 1508 Charles Raper Jonas Hwy, Mt. Holly, NC 28120.
