Teresa Medlin Ward

Teresa Medlin Ward, 64, of Stanley passed away February 4, 2022 at Caromont Regional Medical Center.  She was born in Gaston County on February 17, 1957 to the late Leo and Marjorie Ballard Medlin.  She is also preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Dean Ward and her son, Matthew Warren Ward.  Teresa enjoyed taking care of her inside houseplants, housework, crossword puzzles, and taking trips to the mountains.  She loved her family and her grandchildren.

Survivors include her sons, Christopher Scott Medlin and wife Kayla and Timothy Edward Ward; sister, Elizabeth Ann Medlin; brother, Gene Edward Medlin and wife Judy; grandchildren, Austin and Megan; nieces, Angie Medlin and Sharon Turney; nephew, Bryan Medlin; great nieces, Brittany Turney and Jessica Turney; great nephews, MattLee Medlin and Jordan Medlin; and her pets, Macy and Lucky.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday February 12, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Stanley Cemetery.
