Susan M. Lee

Susan Kiser Lee, a beloved mother, daughter, sister, and aunt, passed away surrounded by love on December 21, 2023, at CaroMont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia, NC, at the age of 58. She was born on November 11, 1965, in Gastonia to Barbara Norris and was preceded in death by her father Howard Norris and sister Sandra Ray.  She is survived by her children Lejin Dellinger, Sebastian Lee, and Aries Lee, her mother Barbara Norris, sister Kathy Denton, and nephew and nieces Cager, Cassi, Kristin, and Kelsey.

Susan was a selfless and loving woman who often placed the needs of those before herself, giving what she had to those who it would help, be it time, energy, or items of value. She was a creative and imaginative person whose favorite pastimes included mosaics and jewelry-making, as well as cooking, always looking for new recipes to try and happy to give food to family, friends, and neighbors to show her love and appreciation.

As a lover of Christmas, beautiful memories of her will forever be cemented with the Holiday season. She will be seen in the falling snow that she loved dearly and looked forward to eagerly every year. As a music lover, she will be heard in the notes of her favorite songs - each one serving as a reminder that she is still with us in spirit whenever they play.

Susan was a dedicated mother who devoted her life to her children completely and wholly. Her absence will be felt eternally by those she leaves behind, but so will her love.

Memorial Services will be held privately by the family.
