Shirley Jeanette Cooper Pate

Shirley Jeanette Cooper Pate, 77, of Stanley, passed away on Nov. 10, 2014 at the Levine Dickson Hospice House in Huntersville. Ms. Pate was born in Mecklenburg County on Nov. 18, 1936 to the late James and Elizabeth Richardson Cooper. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Nancy Horsley and brother Earl Cooper. She was a longtime member of Second Baptist Church, Mt. Holly and retired from American & Efird Inc. of Mt. Holly.

Memorial Services to celebrate Ms. Pate's life will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, Nov. 15 at Second Baptist Church with Rev. Bruce Bradley officiating. Inurnment will be private. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Survivors include her daughter Tracy Payne (Todd) and son Jerry Sisk (Denise). Sisters, Barbara C. Hester (William) and Sarah Barnhill and brother Grady Cooper (Glenda). Grandchildren, Terra and Torin Payne, Adam Sisk, Jason Sisk (Liz) and also great grandchildren, Evon and Emily Sisk.
