Sharon Maxine "Mickey" Jones Harris

Sharon Maxine "Mickey" Jones Harris, 72 of Lowell, NC went home to be with her Lord and Savior on 11/16/2022. Born in Gaston County on June 25, 1950, she was the daughter of the late David and Dorothy Jones, Sr. In addition to her parents, Mickey was preceded in death by a brother, James "Jimmie" Jones in 1956.

After attending Belmont High School she became a wife and mother. For many years, Mickey was employed by R.L. Stowe Mills in Belmont where she did various jobs. Besides her family and friends, Mickey loved reading her Bible, listening to gospel music, serving/helping others, watching classic movies, westerns and war documentaries. She also enjoyed taking care of her many plants.

Mickey was a member of Belmont Foursquare Church. She loved the Lord, her family, church and community. She was known as a kind soul who could always provide a hug and an encouraging word.

She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Mickey is survived by one son, Donovan Harris of Belmont; one daughter, Anna Harris Patterson and husband Barry of Kannapolis; one brother, Dennis Jones of Concord; 2 granddaughters, Kennedy Harris Bradley and husband Zack; Madeline Patterson; 3 great granddaughters, Isabella, Maggie and Eliza; ex-husband/father of her children, Roger Harris of Belmont; sister-in-law, Sandra Harris Kuykendall and a host of cousins and nieces.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Belmont Foursquare Church, 8 Elizabeth St, Belmont, NC 28012 with Pastor Kevin Ford officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.
