Sandra Marie Dieckman

Sandra Marie Dieckman, 66, of Mt. Holly passed away on October 12, 2022 at Accordius Health in Gastonia.  She was born on August 25, 1956 to the late James and Carol Sears VanOpstal.  She is also preceded in death by her husband of 27 years, James "Jim" Dieckman; her daughter, Heidi Dieckman; her brother, Ray VanOpstal; her sister, Diane Perry; her niece, Julia Hagan; and her granddaughter, Aaliyah.  Sandra loved to laugh and make the best of every situation.  She enjoyed working with her husband at their swimming pool business before his passing, listening to music, and playing with her grandchildren.  She was loved by all.

Survivors include her daughters, Jessica Dieckman and Taylor Dieckman; sister, Faye Bowden; brother, Chuck VanOpstal; and grandchildren, Nikolas, Dakota, Nevaeh, Michaela, Donovan, and Marshall.

A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. at Revival Tabernacle of Stanley, 212 S Main St., Stanley, NC 28164 with Pastor John Mayberry officiating.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
