Russell McDowd Williams

Russell McDowd Williams,age 54, passed away Thursday, January 5, 2017.  Born May 21, 1962 he lived in Monroe, NC before settling in Concord, NC.  He worked as a dispatcher for Bradley's Wrecker Service.  Survivors include one brother, Michael Williams of Indian Trail, NC; sister in law, Julie; one sister, Teresa Carnes and husband Mike of Apex, NC; two nieces, Sabrina Williams and Samantha Williams of Monroe, NC; nephews, Brandon Carnes and wife Stephanie and Chris Carnes of Apex, NC; Great nephews, Brycen Williams and Nathanael Adcock of Monroe, NC.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Vann and Clara Williams of Monroe, NC.  A special thank you to Robin who cared for Russell during his long term illness.  Memorial services will be at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, January 14 at Mill Creek Baptist Church with Rev. George Honeycutt officiating.  Visitation will be held in the church fellowship hall after the Memorial services.  Inurnment will be private.
