Ronald Lofton

Ronald Wayne Lofton, 72, of Cherryville passed away on October 26, 2021.  He was born in Avon Park, Florida on February 25, 1949 to the late Thomas Watson Lofton, Jr. and Ethel Roselle Greene Lofton.  He is preceded in death by his brother, Thomas "Tommy" Lofton.  Ronald is a US Air Force Veteran. He loved the beach and surf fishing, animals, hunting, playing golf, and his cat Maggie.  Ronald also enjoyed farming and his tractors.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Nancy Lawrence Lofton; sons, David Wayne Lofton and wife Shelly and Eric Blaine Lofton and wife Amy; sister, Sandra Lofton; grandchildren, Brittany, Devin and wife Kara, Dylan, Erica and husband Noah, Andrew, and Landon; and great grandson, Lawson.

A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. at Grace Baptist Church, 300 Westland Farm Rd., Mt. Holly, NC 28120 with David and Eric Lofton officiating.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
