Robert A. Myers

Robert A. Myers, 52, of Stanley, passed away June 23, 2016 at his residence. Mr. Myers was born in Martinsville, Va. on October 23, 1963 to Allen Frazier Myers and the late Barbara Holt Myers. Robert was a member of Lakeside Church of God. He was an avid music lover and played both the piano and guitar. He was involved with Tres Dias and was very active in his church. He loved to cook and loved people in general while having a contagious laugh. His talents also included flower arrangements and was a teaching professor of computer forensics.

In addition to his father he is survived by his loving wife of 13 years, Marcy Jo Myers. Sister, Joy Myers Rowe and husband Alan of Maiden, NC. Niece, Iris Rowe Hartness and husband Richard and also great niece and nephew, Dalia and Linus Hartness. He had numerous extended family and friends.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3:00 PM Monday June 27 at Lakeside Church of God, 6636 Pine Ridge Dr., Denver, NC with Pastor Jason Collins officiating. Reception will follow the service in the church Fellowship Hall. Inurnment will be private.
