Richard Eugene Auten

Richard Eugene Auten, 74, of Mt. Holly, passed away Oct. 27, 2014 at his residence. Mr Auten was born December 28, 1939 in Gaston county to the late Clyde and Helen Watts Auten. He was also preceded in death by his brother Clyde Timothy Auton. He was a member of Belmont Moose Club and retired from Carolinas Custom Windows after 28 years service.

Memorial Services will be held Thursday Oct. 30 at 7:00 PM at Centerview Baptist Church in Belmont with Rev. Robbie Moore officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 PM prior to the service.Inurnment will be private.

Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Janet Morris Auten. 4 Children, James Morris, Dana Auten, Ricky Auten and wife Sharon and Michael Auten and wife Bobbie. Sisters, Susie Cook and husband Gene, Sheila Shuler and husband Joe, Terry Auten and wife Carolann, Tony Auten and James "BoBo" Auten and wife Carolyn. 8 grand and 4 great grandchildren.
