Raymond "Ray" Joseph Dimmer

Raymond "Ray" Joseph Dimmer, 74, of Belmont, NC, passed away Sunday Dec. 21, 2014 at his residence. Mr. Dimmer was born Sept 13, 1940 in Fargo, ND, son of the late Virgil and Eleanor Dimmer. He is also preceded in death by a son, Steven Dimmer and was a veteran of the US Marine Corp.

Survivors include his children, Deborah Ann Dimmer, Dennis Dimmer and wife Phyllis, Amy Marie Dimmer and husband David Haburjak. Brothers, Ronald, Marlin and Dewayne Dimmer. Nine grandchildren, Jonathan, Joshua, Jeremiah, Anthony, Rebecca, Monsour, Christian, Jacob, Grace and a great grandchild, Ethan.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 AM Saturday Dec. 27 at Queen of Apostles Catholic Church in Belmont with Father Frank Cancro Celebrant. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Gardens in Mt. Holly. Visitation will be Friday from 4:00-7:00 PM at the funeral home.
