Randy Keith Plemmons, Sr.

Randy Keith Plemmons, Sr., 59, of Bessemer City, passed away on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 in Gastonia. He was born in Gaston County on October 19, 1959, the son of the late Shuford Plemmons and Cora Hanna Plemmons. Randy was a loving husband and father who loved the Lord and had a big heart; he would give you the shirt off of his back if you needed it. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Keith Plemmons, Jr.; brother, Paul Plemmons; and brother-in-law, Bruce Green.

Randy is survived by his wife of seventeen years, Barbara Plemmons; children, Fredrick Green, Ashley Green, Kayla Coleman, Cinyell Plemmons, Amanda Millhone, Angela Plemmons, Helen McKnight; brothers and sisters, Doretha Jones, James Plemmons and wife Patricia, JR Plemmons and wife Teresa, Kenneth Plemmons and his wife; sister-in-law, Martha Plemmons; fourteen grandchildren; Special family members, Ricky and Elizabeth Jenkins, Roger and Tootsie Mathis; Special cousin, David Lockridge and wife Joyce; Special friends, Keith Patterson, Bud and Angie Hawkins; Pets, Coco, Fluffy, Puggy, and Baby Girl.

The family would like to say a very special thank you to Roxanne Barnhill and Elizabeth Laws for their care and compassion when taking care of Randy.

A Memorial service to celebrate the life of Randy will be held Friday, May 24, 2019 at 4:00 p.m. at Benson Funeral & Cremation Services, Mt. Holly with Pastor Kevin Ford officiating.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
