Peter Ruffalo, Jr.

Peter (Pete) Dominic Ruffalo, Jr., rejoined our Heavenly Father on April 19th, 2021. Born May 4th, 1965 in Kenosha, Wisconsin, he was the son of the late Peter Dominic Sr. and Ann Marie (Zeno) Ruffalo of Cape Coral, Florida, He is survived by his two sons, Peter Dominic Ruffalo III and Nathan Michael Ruffalo of Portage, Wisconsin. Peter has three sisters: Tina Marie Ruffalo (passed 1978), Susan Lynn Purnell of Cape Coral, FL, and DeAnna Linn Tyre (husband Tracy) of Arcadia, FL. His unexpected death touches his immediate family as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Peter was an active boy and could be found playing football or entertaining his classmates, as he was the class clown. He attended Kenosha County schools, finishing up at Mary D. Bradford High School. Peter loved singing music, especially the Beatles songs and seemed to know all the lyrics. First and foremost, he enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

All was not play; Peter was a very hard worker, picking vegetables as a young teenager at farms in the summer, then as a tireless restaurant kitchen staff member. He met his former wife, Kelly Breunig in Wisconsin. Peter, Kelly and their children, Peter III and Nathan moved to Florida in the 90s where Pete ran his family's Italian restaurant. Peter later moved to Demorest Georgia and worked as a skilled HVAC Technician. He was an active member of Habersham Baptist Church where he served by singing in the choir, helping with vacation bible school, and cooking and serving weekly breakfasts to the congregation.

Peter found joy playing and watching sports with his boys. As a loyal Green Bay Packers fan who never forgot where he grew up, Peter took his sons on a memorable journey to Lambeau Field. When at home, he loved cooking for his family and entertaining his friends.

Peter had a special place in his heart for the homeless. Oftentimes, he could be found donating food, or handing out blankets and warm clothes to those in need. We can now take comfort that Peter is no longer suffering and is in the arms of our Lord Jesus.
