Patrick Marion Latham, born on October 21, 1960, in Abbeville, SC, to his late mother, Sandra Gibson Latham, peacefully passed away on July 5, 2024, at Atrium Health Pineville. Patrick was a beloved call center operator for iQor in Charlotte, NC, where he dedicated his time and energy to assisting others.
Throughout his life, Patrick embraced his friendships and cherished open conversations with many. He had a warm personality that drew people towards him effortlessly. His and Chris' relationship was made of love and friendship that could not be broken. He was a lighthearted easy-going person who loved life! Patrick enjoyed spoiling his nieces and nephews and his sisters' grand kids. He was the uncle that slipped them candy or chocolate after the parents told them no and every time he did you saw a smile on his face. He loved to travel and enjoyed walks around town (in Charlotte or while traveling) taking in the beauty of nature, art in any form, and people watching. He loved going to plays and movies. Patrick's culinary skills were evident through his love for cooking and baking desserts that left a lasting impression on those fortunate enough to taste his creations. One of the highlights he always looked forward to was attending the Renaissance Festival, where he could immerse himself in an atmosphere of merriment and nostalgia.
Among his proudest accomplishments was his unconditional love for his nieces and nephews who held a special place in his heart. Patrick's kindness and caring nature extended not only to his family but also to his friends and colleagues who will deeply miss him.
Patrick is survived by his partner, Christopher Casey; sisters, Tanya Castorina (husband Kirk) and Sonya Patterson (husband Kirk); as well as his brother, Mike Latham. His memory will be cherished by all those who knew him as a compassionate soul with a vibrant spirit.
Services will be held privately by the family.
As we mourn the loss of Patrick Latham from our lives, let us remember the joy he brought to each person he encountered and the genuine connections he fostered. May he rest in peace knowing he made a positive impact on all who had the privilege of knowing him.
