Patricia "Pat" Marlene Hager

Patricia Marlene Hager, beloved wife of Franklin Dewey "F.D." Hager, Jr. for 64 years, passed away on July 28, 2024. She was born on November 11, 1941, in Huntersville, North Carolina to the late Henry and Nell Crump. She is also preceded in death by her brothers, Larry & Jerry Crump. Known for her love for her family, church, and passion for travel, Pat's presence brightened the lives of all who knew her.

Patricia was a devoted mother to her daughters Rennie Payne (Bobby), Dawn Fincher (Bryan), and son Dee Hager (Meredith). Her grandchildren, Patricia Anne Ledford, Joshua Ledford (Brandi), Jessica Payne (Nathan), Olivia Seeley (Stephen), Thomas Huffman (Mallary), Gracie Summerlin (Evan), Will Hager were doted upon with love and care. She was also a cherished great-grandmother to Gavin, Aubrie, Joshua, Naomi, Paisley, and Margaret.

Inseparable from her sister, Linda Lynn (Roy) and deeply devoted to her husband and family, Patricia's warmth and kindness extended far beyond her immediate relatives. Her legacy of love and kindness will forever be treasured by those whose lives she touched.

Friends and family are invited to honor the life of Pat at a Funeral Service scheduled for Friday, August 2, 2024. The service will be held at Cooks Memorial Presbyterian Church in Charlotte, NC at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.
