Norma M. Flynn, age 80, of Belmont passed away Monday July 17, 2017 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia. Ms. Flynn was born in Philadelphia, PA on August 29, 1936 to the late Paul and Kathy Stanton Flemming. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1999, Clifford "Cliff" Flynn II. Also her sister, Patricia Strickland and a brother Timothy Flemming. Ms. Flynn was a member of Queen of Apostles Catholic Church in Belmont. She was a graduate of LaSalle University in the year 2000 and became a teacher. She was an avid doll collector, loved to read mysteries, traveling and loved the beaches. She located to North Carolina in 2006. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Survivors include her sons, Barry Flynn and wife Nina and also Clifford Flynn. Sister Carolyn Fleming and 3 brothers Ronald, Brian and Stephen Flemming. 7 grandchildren, Clifford, Kirkland, Jordan, Mikhail, Jonathan, Joseph and Jacob.
A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, July 29, 2017 from 10:00am -11:00 am at St. Joseph R.C. Church, 7631 Waters Rd., Cheltenham, PA 19012. Father Harrison will be officiating. A viewing will be from 9:00am-10:00am also at the church. Interment will follow immediately at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 3301 W. Cheltenham Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19150.
