Muriel Ryan Evans

Muriel Ryan Evans, 74, of Mt. holly passed away on December 14, 2017 at Caromont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia. Ms. Evans was born on September 21, 1943 in Yonkers, NY to the late William Ryan and Muriel Christopher Ryan. She was also preceded in death by her husband Herman “Joe” Evans. Muriel was employed at American & Efird Inc. in Mt. Holly with over 25 years of service. She loved to sew, enjoyed the beach and loved being with her family, especially her 9 grandchildren.  Survivors include her loving children, Maryellen Ruffalo Lewis and husband John, Tom Ruffalo and wife Sherri and Jon Evans and wife Marie. Grandchildren, Hannah Meeler, Michael Lewis, William, Joseph, Christopher, Mary and Caroline Ruffalo and also Jacob and Daniel Evans. Memorial Services to Celebrate Ms. Evans Life will be held at 4:00 PM Sunday December 17 at Benson Funeral Service Chapel, Mt. Holly, with Reverend Matt Vanderbilt officiating.
