Mike "PawPaw" Alley

Mike 'PawPaw" Alley, 72, of Mt. Holly, went to be with his Lord & Savior November 30, 2023 at CaroMont Regional Hospital in Gastonia. Mike, also known as "PawPaw" was born in Rowan County, NC to the late Kamey B. Alley and Eva  Moore Alley on December 10, 1950. Mike was also preceded in death by his daughter, Tina Renee Alley. Sister Sylvia Guiton and nieces Tonya Helms and Tracy Guiton. Mike was a member of Tuckaseegee Baptist Church in Mt. Holly and was a 32nd degree member of the West Gate Masonic Lodge and Masonic Shriners York and Scottish Rites AF & AM. He loved to travel with his wife Mary, especially to Pigeon Forge where they were married in the year 2000. He loved following his Carolina Panthers over the years. Loved the beach and the mountains. Loved eating burgers from his favorite What-A-Burger restaurant. He leaves behind his loving companion pet dog, Zena. Survivors include his loving wife of 23 years, Mary Hyatt Alley. Children, Dawn Melton and husband Allen and Ross Thomas and wife Lori. Grandchildren, Wyatt and his wife Alice, Kyle, Cecily and Ivey as well as great grandchildren, Tanner and Sutton and his nieces, Tammi Guiton. Services to Celebrate Mike's life will be announced at a later date.
