Medie "Ellen" Richardson

Medie “Ellen” Jones Richardson, 76, of Stanley, passed away March 23, 2016 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Richardson was born August 23, 1939 in Pylesville, Md. to the late James and Ethel Osterkamp Jones. She was also preceded by her brothers James and Pete Jones. She attended Community Pentecostal Center Church and often read her Bible. She loved watching her Hummingbirds and enjoyed the outdoors with gardening, picnics and cookouts with her family, watching old movies and had a great sense of humor laughing and telling jokes. She will sadly be missed by all who knew her.

Survivors include her loving husband of 42 years, Bill Richardson. Children, Larry L. Richardson and wife Lisa, Sharon L. Massengill and husband Roland, Glenda S. Aiken and husband Wade, Glenda A. Scott and husband Ricky and Michael D. Richardson. Brothers, Donald Jones and wife Margaret and also Harold, Dave and Joe Jones. 10 Grand and 11 great grandchildren

Funeral Services to celebrate Ellen’s Life will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday March 26 at Community Pentecostal Center Church, 320 Ralph Handsel Blvd in Stanley with Pastor Eddie McGinnis officiating. Visitation with viewing will be one hour prior to the service. Inurnment will be private.
