Matthew "Murph" Murphy

Matthew "Murph" Murphy, 53, of Charlotte passed away July 27, 2020 at Atrium Medical Center in Charlotte, NC. Matthew also know as "Murph" was born on February 17, 1967 in Pittsfield, MA. to the late William and Irene Rogers Murphy. Murph was a self employed roofer and Loved all sports especially his Miami Dolphins, Boston Red Sox and the Boston Celtics. He was a longtime WWE wrestling fan attending events with his son Matthew. Murph was an outdoorsman. He loved hunting, fishing and enjoyed hanging with his friends at the VFW. Survivors include his wife and companion of 38 years, Shelley Lablue-Murphy. Son; Matthew Murphy. Brothers; Shawn and Billy Murphy and best friend Blake Purry. Also survived by his faithful canine pet, Rudy. Services will be private at a later date.
