Mark Anthony Napier, a dedicated truck driver who enjoyed being on the open road, sadly passed away at his residence on March 25, 2024. Mark, born in Japan to the late Milford Napier and Victoria Sluder Napier on March 16, 1958, leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.
Mark's career as a self-employed truck driver showcased his work ethic and passion for the road. His commitment to his profession was admirable, and his presence will be deeply missed by all those who knew him.
Outside of work, Mark had a variety of interests that brought him happiness. He found solace in the pages of books, loved engaging in board games and cards, and cherished moments spent fishing. The call of the mountains and the peacefulness of camping were among his favorite pastimes.
In addition to his parents, Mark was also preceded in death by his sister, Susan Kay Napier. He is survived by his daughters, Christy Turner, Brandi Napier, and Amanda Napier (and her partner Terrance Flagg); stepson, Marty Sightler; sister, Gail Harper; brother, Bruce Napier (and wife Diana); as well as grandchildren, Ashlyn Turner, Ashton Turner, Gracie Atkinson, Kyland Flagg, and Cohen Flagg.
A visitation in honor of Mark will take place on Saturday, March 30, 2024, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Benson Funeral & Cremation Services in Mt. Holly. Following the visitation, a memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM at the same location to celebrate Mark's life and the impact he had on those around him.
Mark Anthony Napier will be remembered for his strong work ethic, warm heart, and love for family. May he rest in peace knowing that he was truly cherished by all who were fortunate enough to know him.
