Lyndon William Morris, born on October 1, 1943, in Niagara, NY, to the late William and Mary Mangold Morris, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2025 at the age of 81. He is remembered as a dedicated family man, an outdoor enthusiast, and a valued member of his community.
Lyndon had a deep appreciation for nature, particularly evident in his love for hunting and fishing. A passionate fly fisherman, he took great joy in crafting his own flies, demonstrating both his skill and creativity in this beloved pastime. His affiliation with the Fraternal Order of the Eagles highlighted his commitment to community service and connecting with others who shared similar values.
Family was paramount in Lyndon's life. He is survived by his daughters, Susan McPeak and her husband Ken, and Hera Bridges and her husband Joel. He took great pride in his grandchildren, William Baird III, Olivia Alexander and her husband Casey Edwards, and Brianna Matthews, who brought immense joy and fulfillment to his life. Additionally, he is survived by his sister, Donna Taylor.
Lyndon's legacy includes not only the cherished memories shared with his family but also the many lives he touched through his generosity and zest for life. He was preceded in death by his parents, as well as three sisters and two brothers, who will forever be remembered in the hearts of those who knew and loved them.
