Lucy Burr McCurry

Lucy Burr McCurry, 89, of Gastonia passed away October 31, 2013 at Peak Resources in Gastonia. Ms. McCurry was born in Chesterfield County, SC on Oct. 20, 1924 to the late Anderson Burr and Laney Deese Burr. She was also preceded in death by her husband Clinton McCurry, son Albert McCurry and also 9 brothers and sisters.

Memorial services to celebrate Ms. McCurry's life will be at 3:00 PM Saturday, Nov.2 at Grace Baptist Church, 2200 Auten Rd., Gastonia with Reverends Joe Hensley and Jeff Nichols officiating. Inurnment will be private. Visitation will be begin at 2:00 PM prior to the service.

Survivors include Daughters; Pat King (Kenny) and Lucille Cable. Sons; Billy McCurry (Kathy), Darrell McCurry (Susie), Calvin McCurry, Ricky McCurry and Chucky McCurry (Mary). 15 Grand and 23 Great Grandchildren.
