Larry Lee Williams

Larry Lee Williams, 80, of Gastonia passed away on May 30, 2023 at Caromont Regional Medical Center.  He was born in Gaston County on January 26, 1943 to the late Samuel and Inez Sigmon Williams.  He is also preceded in death by his sister, Ester Johnson.  Larry atteneded Love Memorial Baptist Church and Crowders Mountain Baptist Church. He retired from Tyco Electronics. Larry was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

Survivors include his wife of 48 1/2 years, Sharon Williams; sons, Jeff and Chad Williams; daughters, Lisa McGruther and Laura Roberts and husband Jeff; brother, Billy Williams and wife Margot; sister, Patricia Brown; grandchildren, Kenny Eaves Jr. and wife Erica, Jennifer Williams, Jordan McGruther, Kensley Perry, Collin Williams, and Kyan Roberts; 7 great grandchildren; and special friends, Bonnie Jones, Terry Hull, and Martha "Mott" Jones.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. at Love Memorial Baptist Church, Gastonia with Rev. Larry Laws officiating.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.  Graveside service will be held on Monday, June 5, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Gaston Memorial Park, Gastonia.
