Kristine Lynn Hampel

Kristine Lynn Hampel, 52, of Belmont, NC, passed away peacefully from this world on June 18, 2023 at CaroMont Regional Hospital, Gastonia, NC. Kristine was born May 5, 1971 in Auburn, WA. She grew up in the country near Mt. Rainer, WA. She graduated from Auburn High School in 1989 and soon moved to Las Vegas. From there she relocated to West Virginia to be with the love of her life Jimmy Kirby. The two then moved to North Carolina to be closer to his family to care for Jimmy before he passed.  Kristine had a kind heart and a friendly personality. She would always be smiling and laughing even as she battled and survived cancer. She had a free soul and was always on the go. She will be greatly missed by those who knew her. She is survived by her uncle Jesse and his wife Diane, as well as her niece Kayla and her family.  Funeral Services are private by the family.
