Kenneth Wayne Spriggs II

Kenneth Wayne Spriggs II, 50, of Mt. Holly passed away Feb. 20, 2017 at his residence. Kenneth was born March 3, 1966 in Princeton, WV to Linda Holdren Spriggs Walker and the late Kenneth Wayne Spriggs I. He is also preceded in death by his sisters Barbara Ann Hyman and Melinda Kay Swim and also a brother Jeffrey Wayne “Yogi” Spriggs. Kenneth enjoyed fishing, yardwork and was a mechanic at heart. He loved his children and family. In addition to his mother survivors include his sons Kenneth Wayne Spriggs III and his partner Grace Beane and Brian Keith Spriggs, all of Mt. Holly. Grandchildren, Annmarie and Madison Spriggs along with nieces Kaitlin Hyde and Kyra Waters. Brother, Michael Ray “Yogi Bear” Spriggs. Sisters, Kathy Lynn Spriggs of Princeton, WV, and Billie Jean Bryant of Cherryville.  Aunts, Zona Stewart, Marie Brown, and Sandra Shrewsbury. There were also other multiple nieces and nephews and cousins. Services to celebrate Kenneth’s life will be held at 11:00 AM Friday Feb. 20 at Fresh Anointing Church of God with Rev. Dale Welch officiating. Inurnment will be private.
