Kenneth "Skinny" Wayne Spivey

Kenneth "Skinny" Wayne Spivey, 34, of Dallas passed away June 6, 2023 at his home. He was born on October 20, 1988. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Charles Kenneth Stroupe and Jay Milton Costner. Kenneth was a graduate of North Gaston High School in 2008. He loved the outdoors, camping and fishing. He was an avid knife and tennis shoe collector. Kenneth was very particular about keeping his tennis shoes clean and spotless. He loved his brothers and spending lots of time with them, but most of his time he enjoyed with his children, nieces and nephews.

Survivors include his mother, Michelle Stroupe and stepfather, Paul Fine; father, William Wayne Spivey and stepmother, Bobby; his children, Landon Spivey, Kaci Spivey, Kyndall Spivey, Kylar Spivey, and Paisleigh Spivey; brothers, Jacob Reid Spivey and Joshua Scott Barnes; grandmothers, Marie Yerton and Mary Costner; numerous nieces and nephews; especially Ashleigh, Addy, and Alexus.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, June 12, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Benson Funeral & Cremation Services, Mount Holly, NC. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow immediately at Gaston Memorial Park, Gastonia, NC.
