June Evelyn Yutzy

June Evelyn Yutzy, 73, of Belmont, passed away on August 13, 2020 at CaroMont Regional Healthcare. She was born in Baltimore, Maryland on June 2, 1947, the daughter of the late Joseph S. Rodgers and Doris E. Elliott. June attended Unity Baptist Church of Belmont, and was a very active member of the Gad-Abouts of Belmont. She loved to read, enjoyed shopping and loved traveling. June was a very kind and generous lady who would give anything she could to help someone. 

June is survived by her husband, Robert L. Yutzy, Sr.; stepsons, Joseph Scott Yutzy, Robert Louis Yutzy, Jr; siblings, Mary L. Monteith & husband Ronald N. Monteith, Joseph S. Rodgers, Jr. & wife, Ann Rodgers, Judy Homberg & husband Ronnie Homberg; sister-in-law, Barbara Yutzy; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and feline companions, Boe, Buttons, and Bellie.

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, August 26, 2020, 1:00 P.M., at Benson Funeral & Cremation Services of Mount Holly with Pastor Ron Monteith officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
