Judy Parker Hughes

Judy Parker Erwin Hughes, 67, of Springwood, passed away on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Caromont Regional Healthcare. She was born in Gastonia on January 17, 1952, the daughter of the late John Henry Parker and Mary Ruby Mathis Parker. Judy was preceded in death by her husbands, Randy Lloyd Erwin and Dennis Hughes; son, Randall “Jay” Jefferson Erwin; sisters, Janice Parker and Lois Parker Bardin; and brother, Bobby Parker. Judy was a member of Southside Baptist Church in Gastonia, and enjoyed singing in the choir. She also loved sewing and traveling. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer Erwin Mulwee and Christopher of Springwood; sisters and brothers-in-law, Sue Cloninger and Yates of Bessemer City, Doris Postell and Roy of Gastonia, Janie Abernathy and Steve of Clover, SC, Gail Webb and Steve of Wilson; brother and sister-in-law, Johnny Parker and Pam of Kings Mountain; grandchildren, Miranda Haskin and husband Justin of Gastonia, Brandie Mulwee of Springwood, Grayson Mulwee of Springwood; great grandchildren, Jareth, Jenna, and Lily Haskin all of Gastonia.
