John Jacob Seay, born on January 16, 1962, in Bluefield, West Virginia, passed away on January 1, 2025 at the age of 62. He was the beloved son of the late Aubrey and Wanda Seay.
John dedicated his career to being an auto mechanic, a profession he deeply loved, finding joy and purpose in working on vehicles. His passion for mechanics was complemented by his affection for family, as he thrived in the company of loved ones, always cherishing those moments they spent together.
In addition to his professional life, John took great pride in his home and yard, ensuring it remained neat and aesthetically pleasing. It was a reflection of his personality—a man who valued beauty and order in his environment.
John had a variety of hobbies that brought him joy and camaraderie. Whether it was playing bingo, poker, or indulging in the thrill of 4-wheeling and dirt track racing, his zest for life was evident in all he pursued.
He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Stephanie L. Seay; his children, Brittany Seay, Kaleigh Seay, and Caiden Seay; his brother, Danny Seay; his sister, Martha Robertson (Tommy); and several nieces and nephews.
John was preceded in death by his parents and siblings: brothers, Michael, Andrew, Edward, and Joseph, along with sisters, Susan and Sharon. His presence will be dearly missed, as he leaves behind a legacy of love, dedication, and unforgettable memories for all who knew him.
Services to honor the life of John are being held privately by his family.
