John "Nelson" Paulk

John "Nelson" Paulk, 94, of Kings Mountain passed away April 30, 2022.  He was born on November 18, 1927 to the late Marvin Calvin & Alma Morgan Paulk.  He was also preceded in death by his wife of 37 years, Verona Price Paulk; his brothers, Marvin Leroy Paulk and William Loftin, Jr.; his son, Mark Paulk; and stepdaughter; Sherry Myers-Nelson.  Nelson was a member of Love Memorial Baptist Church.  He was a retired Truck Driver and an Air Force veteran.  He was a loving husband, father, stepfather, and grandfather who will be missed.

Survivors include his daughters, Susan Greene (David) and Rhonda Fortner (Pat); stepdaughters, Dava Grayson, Pam Beane (Tommy); sister in law, Portia Weatherly (Harry); and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

A private Memorial service will be held by his family.
