Jimmie Frank Palmer

Jimmie Frank Palmer, 82, of Gastonia passed away June 16, 2022 at Caromont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia.  He was born on May 4, 1940 to the late Glenn Palmer and Allie Kephart Palmer.  Jimmie served in the U.S. Army was retired from the U.S. Postal Service after 30 years of dedicated service.  He was an avid golfer, a loving husband, father, and grandfather.  Jimmie will surely be missed by all that loved and knew him.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Sue Palmer; son, Joel Palmer and wife Kimberley; daughter, Kimberly Burling and husband Brooke; brother, Harlod Palmer; and grandchildren, Cullen Burling, Maren Burling, Sloane Burling, Nathan Palmer, Austin Palmer, and Brandon Palmer.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday, June 23, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. with visitation held from 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. at Love Memorial Baptist Church, 311 E. Walnut Ave, Gastonia, NC 28054.
