Jay William Ruckart

Jay William Ruckart, 56, of Gastonia, passed away on February 1, 2014 at the Robin Johnson House in Dallas. Mr. Ruckart was born August 7, 1957 in Honolulu, HI. He was preceded in death by a sister, China Gibson.

In addition to his parents, Bill & Ethel Ruckart, survivors include his Fiance' Leila Parker and her son Jason Parker and her grandson Jackson Parker. Sister, JoAnn Penniger and husband Gary of Spartanburg, SC and a brother, Mike Ruckart and wife Mary of Charlotte, NC along with 3 step brothers, 1 step sister, and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial Service is being held privately by the family. Memorial contributions can be made to Robin Johnson House PO Box 3984 Gastonia, NC 28054.

Arrangements are being handled by Benson Funeral & Cremation Services, Mt. Holly.
