James Robert Randolph

James Robert Randolph, 65, of Mt. Holly passed away on September 5, 2023 at Caromont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia.  He was born on July 4, 1958 to the late Robert Brittian Randolph and Gwendolyn Cochrane Brewer.  He is also preceded in death by his wife, Judith Randolph and his brother, Bill Randolph.  James attended Unity Baptist Church with his wife before her passing.  He was a hard working man and took value in working hard to support his family. He enjoyed taking trips to the mountains but most of all James loved his family and enjoyed spending holidays with them.

Survivors include his daughter, Amber Lynn Randolph; son, Robert Scott Randolph; grandson, Kayden; step-father, Douglas Brewer; special friend, Melanie Smith Jenkins; and his cat, Stormy.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, September 18, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. at Benson Funeral & Cremation Services, Mt. Holly with Rev. Joe Lawing officiating.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the church, Unity Baptist Church, 1005 E. Catawba St, Belmont, NC 28012.
