James F. "Jim" Kiser

James F. “Jim” Kiser, of Mt. Holly, formerly of Charlotte, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on February 29, 2016 at CMC Charlotte Hospital. Jim was born in Mecklenburg County on June 5, 1945 to the late Vernon Cyrus “Ike” and Pauline B. Kiser. Jim attended North Main Baptist Church in Mt. Holly and was a heavy equipment mechanic and loved all trucks and cars. He loved fixing anything and enjoyed the Carolina Beaches. Survivors include his loving wife of 52 years, Margie Franklin Kiser. Sons Bryant Kiser and Scott Kiser. Grandson David. Sisters, Shirley Mullis (Harry) and Brenda Kiser Hamilton (Jimmy). Several Nieces and nephews and his faithful pet Lab, Slick.

Funeral Services to celebrate Jim’s life will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, March 3 at North Main Baptist Church, 1304 N. Main St., Mt. Holly with Rev. Larry Laughter officiating. Entombment will follow at Forest Lawn West Cemetery in Charlotte. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
