James W. "Treefrog" Barnhill, 36, of Charlotte, NC died March 21, 2014 at the Robin Johnson House in Dallas, NC. James was born in Mecklenburg County, NC on June 10, 1977. He is survived by his wife Cynthia Walker Barnhill and children Alexus Barnhill and Amber Walker, all of Galax, Va. Parents; Debora Barnhill McKnight and Ken McKnight of Fries, Va. and Johnnie Adam and Sara Warren of Charlotte, NC. Brothers and sisters; Jonathan Barnhill of Kannapolis, NC, Darrow Jones of Columbia, SC, Crystal Adams, Jenny Weber, Angel Cureton, Nikki Lippared and Chris Warren, all of Charlotte.

The family will receive friends from 7:00-9:00 PM Sunday March 23 at Benson Funeral Services, Mt. Holly. Inurnment will be private.
