Jack Howard Hagler, 77, of Mt. Holly, passed away peacefully while surrounded by family on September 24, 2015 at the Robin Johnson House in Dallas. Mr. Hagler was born in Mecklenburg County on January 7, 1938 to the late George and Thelma Rainwater Hagler. He is also preceded in death by his wife Dianne M. Hagler, his brother James Hagler and also a sister Virginia Hagler. He was a U.S. Army Veteran serving during the Vietman War.
Funeral services to celebrate Jack's life will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday September 29 at Benson Funeral Service Chapel in Mt. Holly with Pastor Dickie Spargo officiating. Inurnment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery in Belmont. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
Survivors include his daughters, Michelle Andrews (Charles) of Belmont and Tracy Crawley (Derrick) of Stanley. Granddaughter Lyndsey Cunningham and husband Cameron and great granddaughter Lilly Cunningham. Sisters, Jerrie Tarlton of Matthews, NC, Joyce Cook of Crestview, FL., Ruth Patterson (Larry) of Smyrna, SC and Helen Phiefer (Danny) of Marshville, NC.
