Hugh Teague III

Hugh Allen Teague III, also known as "Hughie" or "Hootie",  27, of Burnsville, NC passed away April 20, 2021.  He was born in Spruce Pine, NC on April 24, 1993 to Hugh Allen Teague Jr. and Patricia Humbert Cooper.  He is preceded in death by his paternal Grandfather, Hugh Allen Teague Sr.  He attended Mountain Heritage High School and North Lincoln High School and graduated from Gaston College.  Hugh worked as a welder throughout his life which he enjoyed.  In his spare time, he also enjoyed hunting, fishing, working out, and motorcycles.  He was a member of the Gaston County CBA.  He also enjoyed spending time with his children.  Hugh was a loving son, father, grandson, and brother who will be forever missed and in the hearts of all of his loved ones.

Survivors include his parents, Patty Cooper and stepfather Jim Cooper and Hugh Allen Teague Jr. and partner Kim; daughters, Nova and Paislee; grandparents, Faye Teague, June and Harold Simms, and John and Wanda Humbert III; brother, Nicholas; and sisters, Summer, Makayla, and Kandace.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. at Benson Funeral & Cremation Services, Mt. Holly.
