Hazel Cole Dagenhart

Hazel Cole Dagenhart, 85, of Charlotte, passed away May 9, 2014 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia. Ms. Dagenhart was born in Gaston County on October 14, 1928 to the late Jack and Sophia Russell Cole. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Dagenhart. Brothers; Clyde, Floyd and Marshall Cole. Sisters, Louise Bradley, Mildred Glover, Oma Jenkins, Mouse Barrett, Helen Cole and Geneva Hoffman. Hazel was a member of the Franternal Order of Police Charlotte-Mecklenburg Chapter. She was an avid fisherman and loved her family and her friends and neighbors on Riverside Dr.

Survivors include her son Ronnie Ethridge of Dallas, NC and many special nieces and nephews that loved her.

A Celebration of Life Service will be will be held at 2:00 PM Friday May 16 at Benson Funeral Services Chapel with Rev. Chris Doster officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Inurnment will be private.
