Harelis Wedemeyer

Harelis Wedemeyer, 66, of Dallas passed away Feb. 13 at Caromont Medical Center in Gastonia. Ms. Wedemeyer was born in Panama on October 4, 1949 to the late Carlos and Mercedes Wedemeyer. She was a Member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Gastonia. She was a special lady willing to help others and was always available. She was also a past Cub Scout Leader and enjoyed crafts, sewing and decorating.

She is survived by her children, Harelis Ayala, Katioska Ayala and Jazna Zielke. 6 grandchildren, Gedalih, Abdiel, Mikah, Krystal, Skyler and Shane. Brother and sisters, Miriam Wedemeyer, Carlos Wedemeyer and Eloisa Phillips.

Funeral Services to celebrate her life will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday Feb. 17 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 2710 Redbud Dr, Gastonia with Bishop Neal Dawson Officiating. Interment will be private by the family at Evergreen Cemetery “A Quiet Place” in Belmont.
